My Kitty bites my knee (softly) when I am ready to feed her/him, why?

Well you should be flattered, this means KISS in cat language. My cat is doing this every day. I love my cat very much so I am huging and kiss him every day. He understood that people like kiss and hugs so he hugs my leg with his paws and gentle bite my knee if I am wearing a dress or short pants. I find this quite flattering. So be gentle do not hit, or push him/her it is only a sign of great love.

Can I clip my cat claws or I need a groomer?

Of course you can, use an ordinary clipping nail. Push on each "finger" so the nail will come out from under the hair and clip it only the transparent part. Do not clip to deep since you can hurt the cat. Here are some picture, may be are not very clear but will do the trick. All four paws took me 5 minutes to clip them. The cat was very concerned with pictures not what I am doing. He let me do what ever I want with him anyway.

Use a pair of cat nail clippers (see photo). They make the job easier, and cost $5 or $6 at a pet store
